Jedi Compass Charity Donations

Post by Setanaoko » Fri Dec 25, 2015 12:46 pm

Through the Jedi Compass, which was released in June, our Community was able to donate $250USD to UNICEF this morning.

Merry Christmas everyone. My Christmas wish is that this book will continue to inspire members of our community and I hope that next year we can at least double that number by June.

Hey there guys!!! I thought I'd let you know, in the event you didn't watch the Force Realist episode last week: The Jedi Community, since Christmas last year, has raised $265 for UNICEF off of the profit from our book The Jedi Compass.
It may not be much, but I'm proud of it's accomplishment to help people around the world.

This is actually pretty awesome. I didn't know much about UNICEF until today... so, thanks for that as well :)

Thank you for your support, everyone. *warm smile*

I thought it was pretty cool to learn that UNICEF has a marketplace too, to help fundraise for them. If I get enough funds next year I'm probably going to do some of my Christmas shopping there. I was actually quite excited when the community's vote went to UNICEF over the other organizations.

You could quadruple that donation if members paid yearly dues.
I will return with FA's testicles around August, 2019.

^^ I'm really happy about this year, once again we raised over $200 ($226 to be exact) from this book.
